Cameron
McPherson, Vice President, Technical Services, Carlson Hotels Worldwide
- Asia Pacific
Cameron McPherson was appointed Vice President, Technical
Services for Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific (CHW-AP) in
February 2007.
An industry veteran with more than 25 years hospitality
experience, Cameron is responsible for hotels that are individual
by design, yet consistent with the quality and standards of CHW-AP.
Leading a team of design and construction professionals, Cameron
oversees the various stages and challenges of hotel development,
ranging from pre-opening design and construction, to the management
of new and renovated properties, as well as I.T. and project management.
Having lived and worked in South-east Asia for nearly
two decades and another three years in Hawaii and the Bahamas, Cameron
has a strong design and construction milieu. His past accomplishments
include the Ritz-Carlton Millennia Singapore, Millennium Tower,
Millennium Walk retail and Conrad Centennial in Singapore, as well
as the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort and the Royal Oasis Resort in
Hawaii where he contributed as Project and Design Manager. Cameron
was also previously Director of Technical Services for Signature
Hotels and Managing Director of CBM Management, a development and
project management company specialising in hotel and resort development.
Cameron graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management
from Queensland Institute of Technology, Australia and a Bachelor
of Interior Design from Seven Hills Arts College, Australia. He
also holds an Advanced Diploma in Furniture Design from Seven Hills
Arts College and an Advanced Diploma in Hotel Administration and
F&B Management from Hospitality 2000 College, Australia.
Cameron is married with three daughters and a son.
