Speaker: Zoe Wu, Director Shanghai Office,
Horwath HTL
Zoe will give an update on the hotel market performance
in Asia Pacific as well as hotel development trends in the
region. A look at how each market has measured up over the
year and what kind of developments have been happening where |
 Zoe
Wu is the Director and Chief Representative for Horwath HTL (HHTL)
Shanghai Representative Office. She has almost 20 years of hospitality
industry experience from the US, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China,
and has been involved in feasibility studies, market research, financial
forecasts, cash flow analysis and master planning projects in both
the hotel and food & beverage industries in China, Thailand,
Taiwan and Vietnam. Prior to joining HHTL, Zoe was responsible for
the regional education and training for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts
North America, and Grand Hyatt Taipei in the preceding years. She
also spent two years with Driving Revenue in Washington DC as a
database consultant specializing in hotel market analysis. Ms. Wu
holds both an undergraduate and a graduate degree from Cornell University’s
School of Hotel Administration and is a Core Member of the Cornell
Club Shanghai and an active member of the Cornell Hotel Society.
