Sean Monaghan, Director for Business Development - Gallant Venture
Macau continues to break all records, but how long
can this continue? How is Singapore approaching the prospect of
their first casinos, and what else is happening in the gaming world
in Asia Pacific?
Sean Monaghan, one of the leading authorities in the
gaming market in Asia will cover the current casino market in each
country, and assess the outlook for change.
Sean Monaghan is Director for Business Development at Singapore
listed
property conglomerate, Gallant Venture - one of the largest
landholders in
Indonesia with over 30,000 acres of beachfront land on Bintan
Island located
near Singapore. He specializes in the gaming and property
markets. Prior to
this new role Sean was the head of investor relations at Genting
International and previous to that was the head of gaming
and property
research at Merrill Lynch in Singapore. Monaghan's career
has focused on the
property and gaming industry and particularly the geographic
regions of East
Asia and Australasia. He received his bachelor degree in economics
and
commerce from the University of Queensland and his master's
of business
administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management
(AGSM). He
was appointed to the faculty of the University of Nevada,
Reno in 2004 and
lectures annually at their executive development program.
